Forgot to comment out lock from testing (Only allowing it to work for me). Sorry
@Entity1037 Did you have trouble with one of my other scenarios with it telling you that? Do you have trouble with other peoples' scenarios with highscores or anything?
Well I been on this first hour and played with a few of you. But I really must force myself to study for finals... Maybe in the future there can be times set when a group of users can get on to play
@JetLennit gg, took me a while to realize you were trying to write 'Hi'. I made a little smiley face in the corner, although it didn't look very good. XD
Yeah.. then when you made your smily-face i kept saying, "What on earth is he doing? He got a hit!"
Then I saw the smile and I was like "Oh, now i get it" =D
Hey, bourne, you should add so you can see the positions of your enemies ships after a game, because I'll be making misses everywhere, but I can't see where your ships were after you beat me.
Also, a method of being able to tell whether someone's online or not. Currently it will only tell you if someone is playing a game or challenging you. If they're using the scenario but aren't in a game and aren't challenging you, you can't tell they're online.
Ah, thank you, that part is a little bit confusing. So as soon as you open the scenario, it updates your last known activity time?
Also, I noticed you were considering adding a chatbox to this game. While this would be a nice addition, as it would be more fun to be able to talk with your opponent, you can just open another tab with your Userinfo IM scenario and chat using that while playing. The only problem with that idea is the short 15-seconds you have to make a move.
I apologize for the missing explanation, the last known activity time is the time since the scenario you are running recognized a change saved to a user's UserInfo. N/A means it has not noticed a change since you loaded the scenario.
How it works, a thread updates a value every 5 seconds or so (just to create activity/changes to be noticed, indicating you are online).
It should be noted that pausing the scenario will pause the thread as well. And resuming the scenario may reset some last known activity times to 0 when in fact they may be older than that.
