thanks i spent about 3 weeks programming,searching and looking for good sounds like 2-3 hours a day, the best sounds i got from the website http://www.flashkit.com/soundfx/ if you are interrested in that.
and jeah i like designing things as well so i always keep it looking as good as possible ;)
but as mentioned the laags are big crap !!
Perhaps why it is lagging is because at line 105 in the class Play, you have the following being executed every act cycle:
UserInfo.getMyInfo().getInt(5)
This retrieves data for the current user from the server which isn't as fast as it is when within the Greenfoot IDE
Much better than with the lags!
By the way, you have setPaintOrder methods in your menu worlds in the act methods. Better put them in their constructors.
In "Highscore", "Upgrade", "Menue" and "Info" it is still in the act method.
I have a question. When I click on "reset", is everything deleted then or can I change the upgrades then? I ask because I don't know if I should max out the speed.
after pressing reset you have to confirm that, then all your upgrades and your money are reseted, but not your score! I thank you for playing it through, i see this as a respection of my work ;) great thanks ;)
You can see my stats, I did not maxed my speed. Maybe it is unplayable then and I would probably would not want to play it again from the beginning. Now there are always tons of coins that I do not need. At least I am not color blind, but they are still confusing.
Oh and another thing. It would be nice if you could skip the logo with the spacebar or something. Also in your other games. You are not the only one with those intros. It looks good, but it is quite annoying to watch it every time you press reset or reload.
the scenario stops working after I press start. I have a feeling it has something to do with storage not being available, because the school computers don't allow the user info storage to work.
