The Potateriod

One day, in orbit of planet farm, there was a warp in spacetime, out of it, emerged a potato the size of the moon, this was called the potateriod. As soon as it came into orbit it started growing, then splitting, then growing, then splitting, and so on, until there were hundreds of potato's growing in orbit. Deep within the original potateriod was an intelligence, planing on building up an army of massive potatoes to take over the GALAXY!!!
Planet farm was unique however, in that it had a union of defence with a properly armed spaceship, however it was really just a modified lighthouse. Thus they called on the Exterminaters Union who sent a proper space rocket, these two crafts would have to destroy the potateriods minions and ensure that the intelligence was obliterated.
