Island Fighters is based off some of the Mario Party 8 Minigames. The objective of the game is to remove all 10 lives from your opponent.

Michael is a player controlled by the keys “W” to move forward, “A” and “D” to turn and “S” to throw rocks. He has 10 lives and fights against Richard. If he touches Richard, then he and Richard will move Backwards.

Richard is a player controlled by the keys “Up” to move forward, “Left” and “Right” to turn and “Down” to throw rocks. He has 10 lives and fights against Michael. If he touches Michael, then he and Michael will move Backwards.

Move your character around the map by using the keys specified above. Avoid touching the cacti and the opponent. Touching your opponent will cause both players to move backwards. Touching the cactus will result in an immediate life reduction to your player and will cause the cactus to disappear. Rocks can be thrown at your opponent to push them backwards. In order to win, you must remove all 10 lives from your opponent. This can be done by pushing your opponent off the edge, throwing rocks at your opponent until he runs into the edge, or getting your opponent to run into a cactus. However, lives can be brought back by collecting a Health Pack, doing this will restore the player's health fully. Once all lives have been taken from opponent, the game will stop and a “Game Over” message will appear.
