Well, my first question: How is it going to be different from doodle jump (or other platformers)? Just reprogramming an existing one is certainly a very good exercise. But adding your own touch is what makes it really interesting!

Thanks for the feedback! thats a great point, and its hard to produce something that isnt generic. And thats a great point for me to ponder on. I would like to make it a memory puzzle in which there are 5 or more coloured platforms and before each level you witness a series of colours of varying speed, and your aim is to active the correct colour platforms in the right order. For my current abilities this is quite extravagant, but ive got the summer holidays to fiddle with it! :D
If you fall down the character simply disappears
