Redid the powerup sprites, fixed some minor bugs, created some new bugs, changed the ammo gained from picking up a powerup from 25 to 15. Still working on that new enemy and have some ideas for more power ups.
yeah that's happend to me too. I'll fix that in the next update. Along with complete enemy code re-writes, a new enemy, asteroids, different enemy spawning system, another power-up, and bug fixes (and more bugs).

Also added a short period of invincibility, as requested by matt.milan, I have yet to add a flashing affect to the ship while invincible. I may decide to change how the score works, you gain points for every frame you survive, instead of getting points for destroying enemies. More bug fixes and other stuff coming soon (or eventually :/ )
Adding new artwork soon. And maybe some background music and sound effects for when you pick up a power up. Will make asteroids less common and smaller, and fix 1+ not showing up.

*Temporarily removed mini astaroids from spawning when an asteroid is destroyed due to a bug when they hit the side of the world. Working on a fix :(
I MIGHT add double ships, but it's unlikely because it would be difficult with the current animation setup (moving from left to right). I'm planning on changing that so it strafes the ship instead of turns it. I'm not very good at art so I don't know when that will happen.

@ugafan24 I added a second world, but it's still kind of buggy, I will continue to update the game as I add more features (more levels, powerups, bug fixes, bugs, etc.).
