emujoust

The old Australian "MicroBee" computer had a game called "Emu Joust", itself a clone of "Joust". I've started to reimpliment it in Java here.

The game doesn't play yet, but you can walk around, and the animation works reasonably well.

Use the following keys:
shift - flap wings
left/right arrows - control direction

You should change the key for flapping wings, with shift you keep getting the sticky keys thing. great animation strings though!

Reminds me of "Ready Player One"... and Johann Sebastian Joust.

Yeah, shift might not be the best key, although you can turn the sticky keys message off
