prototype "Bleach"

This is the initial prototype I made for my second attempt at a game. Art was found using Charas-project.net.

A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Wed May 09 23:38:21 UTC 2012 made the sword attack animation a little faster. Use arrows or 'a' and 'd' to move. spacebar jumps. 'q' or 'e' attacks.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Fri May 18 00:19:40 UTC 2012 This is phase 2 of my "game". Added some monsters and I built up the map some more. Sword attack doesn't do anything right now, that and more monsters is what I'm doing now. There's a bunch of things I'm still trying to figure out how to do, so if you're playing this... sorry. Also, I am open to suggestions, tips, hints, and advice. But please be kind, I'm learning.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Tue May 22 05:28:06 UTC 2012 Further progress has been made! Sword attack now works and in fact is the only way to kill the monsters. Added an effect for when the monsters get killed, the body will end up on the ground and the hed will fly off as if CUT BY A SWORD! Fixed the player deth animation so the body actually ends up on the ground at the end rather than in mid air(unless you die in mid air?) Still trying to get some of the sounds to play the way I want and I have plans to add a health bar, a second level, some more creatures to kill, scores, and a few other things.

A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Wed May 23 06:48:20 UTC 2012 Sounds and a scoreboard were added. I kinda made another level, if you kill the first 2 monsters it repopulates the board and adds 2 new monsters that move a little faster. Haven't made an animation for the new monsters dying so if you kill one it magically turns into the first dead kind. I'll change that whenever I get a chance to edit the images I have. The blue box will eventually have the instructions and dying will eventually generate some buttons to give you a choice to restart the game. The first thing I'd like to fix is the way the next level starts. I want to make it so it doesn't start till you go through the opening on the bottom right.
