Fractal Flames

Inspired by the awesome screensaver Electric Sheep, I set out to make my own Fractal Flame generator/display system. It's pretty simple compared to what is possible with fractal flames, but it can be pretty cool to look at!

I'm loving the oversampling. What exactly is it? I'll have to give the code a look over tomorrow.
Oversampling is when you render to an image larger than the destination, and then shrink it down when you display it. This helps with rough edges and general smoothing out of the grain.

Ah yes, oversampling. I never thought it would have such a profound effect, looks great!
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Wed Nov 07 06:55:35 UTC 2012 Added a logarithmic based shading system controlled by a gamma slider. Makes all fractals look a lot better!
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Wed Nov 07 07:11:10 UTC 2012 Added a brightness slider too since the gamma slider can sometimes make the fractal too dim
This is awesome!
