Hi everyone. You are looking at the new Greenfoot forum. Now is the time to tell us what you think. This forum has been custom designed for the Greenfoot Gallery. There are bound to be some rough edges and quirks that we will iron out over the next few weeks. (And more Gallery improvements are still to come.) So please: let us know what you think. Whether you like it or not, if you have ideas or suggestions — we would like to hear about it! Michael (from the Greenfoot Team)

No there isn't an RSS feed but that's a really good idea! Although I personally don't use it RSS is pretty popular so we'll definitely take this under advisement.

Regarding RSS feed, etc., some of the discussion lists I'm on for Scratch and Alice offer "subscribe to this topic / subscribe to this forum" so that they're not RSS feeds per se, but you do have a way to flag an e-mail account when there is a new post or reply rather than having to go check the forum daily / weekly. That would be nice to have if it's a feature that can be turned on or otherwise added without major development effort.

We are adding on-site notifications to the Gallery (coming in a few weeks). This will show you if there are activities on the site that you might be interested in (Facebook style), such as responses to your posts or comments on your scenarios. Once we have that, we will have an email option for your notifications.

There is a big need for more and separated categories. Now advanced questions are mixed with newbee questions, for example. It would be easier with different frames/pages for different issues, for example. I had a question relating to an exercise in the book, but I hesitate to ask among these other questions. (Exercise 5.10 on page 67 is confusing. Don´t you need to do the stuff on the next page first?) Exceptionally nice book, otherwise.
