GREENFOOT WONT START RUNNING iOS 10.6.8

I have a MacBook 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and last weekend I updated my iOS to 10.6.8. After this update I tried to start Greenfoot but it won't open. When you click on the icon in the map programms, the square opens with the Greenfoot title and after that everything just dissapears. When you start Greenfoot again, the same thing happens. Can anybody help me with this problem? Thank you.

Make a try on "pure java" edtion which supports any OS, actually I din't have tried myself, just hope it could help you

btw. ios is the os for mobile phones. osx is the os for macbooks.

Yes, ofcourse it is OS! Thanks for the answers but it didnt solve the problem. I get the same fault running the java version. Does anybody else know something I can try? thank you

I just wonder why? Is it because of diffrent edtions of JRE?
