Someone else's solution will likely vary wildly from person to person. If you've got a specific problem (the thing you mentioned about lengthening the snake for example), then give more details on what you've tried, and some of the relevant code and we'll be happy to help. But if anyone does have a snake game, post away :)

I cant get the snake to add snakebodies to the head. I want them to be added after i eat my food, so I put it after the eating bit in my eat command, I need to know how to add a snakebody after I eat my food, and, how to make the snakebodies follow the exact trail of the head, not cut across the map, following the head.

I have several demos for snakes. Click on my picture icon (the fractal image) and on the lower right you will see my Collections. Go to the 'Demos by danpost' collection and check out the 'Snake Tracks Demo' specifically; as that one eats food to grow. I would also suggest looking at the others for different ways for the body segments to play 'follow the leader'.
