I think if you can really make subclasses extend from their fathers, your program will become much clear and efficiency :P
yer im trying to get most of it together. Also after adding a mute button i will be looking for a way to make all the sub classes of the button class work in just the one button class.
i probrably should do some documentation in it too, my school friends took one look at the code and turned away saying "nope deffinately not gonna try..."

fixed most sound problems if not all. Fixed glitch of scores not showing properly at lose/win screens. Added mute sound and mute music buttons (but dont know where to put them yet so they are just centrally positioned at the bottom. Suggestions?)
btw read the new about page (replaced options page in last update) it has the details (well just the needed ones).

fixed bug when u get killed by a ghost that has not yet come fully out of the spawn box after a respawn ghost changes pic to blue eatable ghost.

changed codes a bit. (compressed buttons classes and menu classes).
Will be using the idea of how GregC246 edited my ghost class, but will be done from scratch and with differences due to his being out of date. (well the one that i have of his was) so im just gonna start that bit of code from scratch for my own simplicity's sake.

just took a look at the code and realised it was similar. no need to start from scratch, only needed to copy 1 of my ghost classes and then edit it a bit with the ghost class from GregC246's version.

fixed fruits disapearing when in pause page. Moved the mute and music classes into the buttons class to lower the amount of classes needed, and fixed the bug that came with it, that removed them when you unpause the game with the "p" button. And finally bothered putting the Gate class back into the wall class.

compressed all 3 worlds into the one world (Pacman) for less classes and a lot easier use for the mute and music mute buttons that i should be completing next update (tomorrow cause its getting late). And fixed that bug that says u lost when u accually one at the end of the game when all food are gone, also fixed player 2's score not changing style and position on win screen. Still need to check for more bugs (hopefully no more).

Finalized position of mute and music buttons.
Fixed the states of mute and music buttons not being saved through changes of world types.
Fixed player 2 score not positioning itself properly in win menu.
Some sounds (the long ones) now are accually muted when you press mute so if you unmute it before it ends you can still here it.
Fixed retry button not knowing when it's multiplayer.

added editable controls. To change controls you go to the first help page and click on the key you want to change. There will be a pop-up that says your current key. Just click whatever key you want to use and it will change it. If you dont want to change the key then click on the screen and it will remove the pop-up.

thats a problem with your java, it works perfectly for me as in the speed.
and no i cant add the source code right now as the year 11's at my school are doing this project as well so my teacher requested me to remove the source code.

fixed a little mistake i had in the code before.
o thats how the real game is like too, only that it looks like its following you as at each corner there are mainly only 1 way to go and that is towards where you went, and the real map is a lot smaller than mine so theres more of a chance of them following you on that than on this. If you play the real game and run away from a ghost soon enough it will turn away from you.
been busy with load of assignments so couldnt start the AI, holidays coming so ill probs be able to start/finish it within the next week

Last minute decision in adding ghost AI before having to hand in for assignment.
added Ghost AI.
Bug -
when ghost is going up or down and pacman is on right side of ghost (close enough to be detected) it goes left instead of right. When its on the other side it goes left towards the pacman. If i change it so when pacman is on the right side now it supposedly should go right towards the pacman. But from doing this, when the pacman is on the left side of ghost it will go away from pacman, even tho i didnt touch any other code.

It's great! ..but after a set period of the Ghosts heading in their pre-planned route, they should then head towards Pacman when he is in sight! Makes the game far more exciting.
yer the ghosts move around randomly and once the player is within range the ghosts try to go towards the player, but sometimes they can get out of range midway when they are trying to find a way around a wall to the player.
Right now the AI is a little glitched and i am going to try fix it when i have the time, but from what i am seeing i think the glitch is java based. But i will give it another look when i have time.

I've been real busy so havnt accually done anything on this, but heres an update and the source code is released if you want to look at it. The code is very messy as it is old (i had only just begun learning Greenfoot when i started this) and i havnt had time or even the patience to clean it up yet, maybe in the future but exams are coming soon.
Added:
- When all food are eaten world resets.
Needed/Planned:
- Fix ghost AI (same old glitch)
- add high score system
- clean up the WHOLE code (most likely restart whole code in new file then transport over)
Oh and i will either make PAXON in a new scenario or make it as a game mode in this scenario. But that will be in a long time... Im too lazy these days, need to get back to coding and away from videos and school :)
