About Me

I teach 7th grade at a title one school in Aurora, Il. It can be difficult to engage my students and they are not always sold on the fact that reading and writing will bring them success. Most of their parents are blue collar employees so they see themselves in this arena. If I could use something like Greenfoot to get them excited about programming, that would be awesome. I hope I can learn it first. I am a technological immigrant however, I did do fairly well in the computer programming class "basic" it seemed very common sense ran where many were confused. If you run any training for teachers, I would be very interested
