a life counter next to your score would be nice i play with the motion blur all the way up (its really trippy) and the red flash doesnt show to let you know that you just lost a life... just a suggestion
Ehm builderboy2005... I think this is using the same highscores as the 'Highscore demo' scenario...
The highest score by 'NINTO' did i get in that scenario...
Hmmm, now its not recognizing that i have the HighScore class and the Score class in the directory. When i compile it says that it cant find class HighScore class Score...
When i download the Highscore demo, it doesn't work on that either, and the classes aren't showing up in the extra classes menu...
That's probably becuase I never released the source for the HighScore and Score classes - it should still recognise them though, but they probably won't show up in the extra classes menu like you've realised. What problem is it that you're having?
I'm not 100% sure if the classes I used in the highscore demo were actually the latest ones, but it's probably better to grab them from http://www.greenfoot.org/greenroom/scoring/test/ rather than the highscore demo and see.

haha
1st place b****es!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you should make it where the more motion blur thats on the more points you get
You could download the source if you wanted to take a closer look ;)
Basically I didn't erase the screen every frame before redrawing it, i only erased a little bit of it, so that on each frame parts of the previous frames showed through. Note that this only works when you are NOT using actors :P
Download the source code???!!! My father (the "techster," whitch is not a user name) told me that Java can erase folders, whitch means a virus! Like removing the folder: C:\
Um java itself is not a virus, and if thats what you believe, why did you install it on your computer? My source won't harm you either, its just text files and class files, if you don't want to run it on greenfoot, you could always just look at the text files with notepad.
(and C:\ is not a folder, its your disk :P)
MathManiac, if you are really worried about java, you can modify some file or other (I'm not exactly sure which one) and start java up with a SecurityManager. This can prevent java from accessing your file system. Java tutorial about security can be found here: http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/security/index.html
Math maniac you know it's really hard to make a virus in java and the viruses can really only harm other java files so what are you worried about. Your only downloading the source not and executable and finally if the program was a virus your computer would have already crashed because you already ran the file in you browser.
Motion blur just makes the world and the actors in it more transparent right?
[update]
Nevermind I see it's alpha. I've always used a not-quite-100-transparency to make things blurry.... Of course I'm new to programming...
Using too much motion blur turns the entire screen grey :O
