It might be easier to calculate the new X and Y separately without using the angle.

Thank you for responding, moving the enum to the top-level worked. I did not try deleting the wishlist file because I am on mac so I wasn't sure if your advice would work.

top down zombie survival game in my scenarios

Mouse clicked object

I want to have multiple levels. I am using a switch statement for that. My problem is the selection of the levels. I created objects as buttons for the level selection. Virus Warning received

Hi! I'm trying to use Greenfoot for grade 11/12 Java eduction. For testing, copied the portable/standalone version onto school computers, and they got kicked out by the system with a virus warning (Win64:PWSX-gen ) on greenfoot.exe (the one in the root folder, not the one in the greenfoot subfolder). Did anybody have the same problem? Before I try to convice our admin to whitelist the application, I need to be sure it's really clean. Appreciate feedback! Cheers, Hendrik

One way is to add to velX every so often (using an act counter). A more advanced way is to use a smooth moving system, which will allow you to add a slight increase (fractional value) every act step.

An animation only takes the last photo of it?

Seems like an awful many variables. You should only need one for the state of the 'k' key and a timer for the animation:

Yes. Greenfoot's built-in collision detection uses bounding boxes for collision detection, so it doesn't care if the pixels are filled or transparent. You may be interested in this pixel-based collision detection scenario , which has code you could use for colliding based on transparent/non-transparent pixels.

Not the button on the site -- the button in your Greenfoot application. Load the scenario, then click the button at top-right of window (should say "Share").

Why are you checking for more than 5 scrolls picked up, if only picking up 5?
